I'm not a gamer so I know very little about the consoles. Anyway me and a friend were talking about the Xbox the other day and it got me wondering about two things so I figured I would just ask. What file system does a HDD in an Xbox use? Also does an Xbox use some type of OS?
Just curious.

the old xbox uses a windows 2000 core with the xfat file system

Thanks for the reply money. It just stirred my curiosity when I got to thinking about it since the Xbox is a Microsoft product.

yeah i popped mine open and i was fiddling with it and i learned alot though it and the internet but that was the old xbox i don't know about the new on like i said
