pc crashes
hi all im new here so bare with me
pc spec:
athlon 2600xp
gigabyte ga-7va mb
1.5 gb ddr pc2700 ram 333mhz bus
one hell of a big cpu fan
3 case fans (mega cool inside since my last escapade)
ok problem is this
i play a game called BLACK HAWK DOWN, when i start to load the game maps the system crahes and restarts. that is when i have more than 512mb of ram on board (1 stick) when i add anything more this problem happens.
all sticks work perfectly fine on there own, as im posting this i have all 3 sticks in 1.5gb and the system in its self is fine. in system properties the ram is showing up fine (1,572,336kb)
well i think that sums it up, any help or ideas would be much appreciated

If everything is working okay, otherwise, I'd say it might simply be a problem with the game--although I've never seen a problem with a game restart a PC. Do you have the latest version of Direct X from Microsoft, and have you installed any patches from the Black Hawk Web Site. Look here http://www.gamershell.com/news_BDelt...ckHawkDo.shtml

Follow this link for one specifically for memory called memtest. (this one takes a while so do it before bed).
