    SCREEN VERY DARK...is this Windows?

Hi..I am having a problem with being able to see my screen..looks like I'm looking through fog. Colors are strange..if I look from the side I can see the correct colors but faintly. This is a compaq presario 2000. Aol willnot let me add 9.0. They say I don't have enough memory..I need 128 I think and I have 62. What do I do for this? How do I add more memory?

We have a link to Crucial.com on our main page. They willl give you exactly what you're looking for as far as RAM is concerned.

Make sure the FOG isn't a CONTRAST and BRIGHTNESS adjustment on the monitor. Some video adaptors let you "tweak" the settings in Windows. It's also possible that this can be off. Access this by right-clicking on the desktop, choose Properties, then on the Settings tab you'll see a button that says Advanced. IF you're allowed to "tweak" it'll be here, but not all graphics allow this.

This is probably a monitor adjustment. Are the graphics and letters foggy BEFORE it get's to Windows? This will tell us a lot.
