    Problem rebooting

I tried rebooting my comp. I used Fdisk but now it says there are no fixed disks. What should I do?

Get a Windows boot disk from here http://www.bootdisk.com and reboot with it in the drive. At the A: prompt type sys c: and hit enter.

If that doesn't work, reboot and make sure the drive is recognized in BIOS. To enter BIOS setup, hit one of the following keys while booting ESC, F1, F2, F10, or delete.

What brought this all about? Were you having problems before you tried the fdisk?

try running the fdisk command again and see if the drive is recognised. Here is a link to our fdisk page http://www.pctechbytes.com/fdisk.htm.

If you cannot repartition the drive again, you need to go into the BIOS setup as decribed in my first post to determine if the drive is being recognised by the BIOS.

If the drive is not in BIOS, you'll need to go inside the case and check the cables.
