can't use my a drive

my a drive is a 3.5 1.44mb but it reads as a 5.25 or 5.1|4. how do i change the setting and get it to work. I cheaked the bios and its ok. :cry: :cry: :cry:

This is often a BIOS thing or a bad or loose cable thing. Have you been inside the case?
