Seems like maybe they intalled the wrong drivers. You can get the correct drivers from the nVidia website. Install them, delete the graphics adapter from the device mananger and reboot. It should find everything on reboot.
I recently recieved my PC back from Acer after it was repaired. Before, the system told me I had an NVidia Geforce 9300GE graphics card, but now it is telling me i have a Nvidia Geforce 7050 Graphics Controller. The performance is nowhere near as it was before I sent it in for repair. Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Sorry, I forgot to mention this. Before I sent it back, the monitor plugged straight into the graphics card, but now it goes into the other plug. They switched the sockets round somehow, is there any way to switch them back?
PS I tried what you said, but it hasn't worked. I tried hardware scans, rebooting, deleting all graphics drivers, but it didn't work.
So the monitor is now plugged into the onboard adapter and NOT the card you had before? Is the card 9300GE still installed?
the card is still in the system but it doesnt come up on the screen, it says 7050 controller instead of 9300GE card. It is plugged into the onboard adapter because there is a no signal message when i plug the monitor directly into the card.
Go into BIOS and disable the onboard graphics. Then reconnect your monitor to the card.
