My Compaq 5BW 5000A series computer runs Windows 98 SE obviously threw out a cookie ( or something like that) Internet Explorer still works somewhat but will not bring in Yahoo without going through long wait periods. Trying to synchronize ( from explorer tools) it says "error downloading url" . Can any onehelp me ? I did get one reply that suggested I download the iefix.htm from windowsxp.mvps.org; I did download and run the exe but no correction for my problem. I did contact Yahoo direct and after many suggestions, they just said the problem was with the internet explorer 6.0 and they could not do anything.
