Windows Start sound "BANGS"

When I start my computer, the window start sound "Bangs" at the end. WHen I check the sound on the control panel and test it everything sounds okay. Any idea why the sound would stop and make a banging sound?

Try changing the sound scheme. See if it makes a difference. I wish I could hear the sound because I'm having trouble imagining it.

But it probably has nothing to do with the scheme. It's probably more like a corrupt sound file. We need to figure out what file that initial Windows sound is and replace it.

This would be a good Geek Assignment. Who wants it?
