    Easily View Your System Information

    For those of you who do not fear the black, murky*depths of the command line, here’s a very useful tip for viewing your system information all in one convenient location.     nice, but i use other programs for that very same thing but on the other hand this would help on customers computers where i can't install anything

    Just tried it on my machine.
    Got the message that " systeminfo.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command."
    What's up with that?
    Doesn't really matter since I use System Information For Windows by gtopala, but curious about message.

    Great command for when you are on the phone with the person and need to know there specs. Does there happen to be a way for it to create a text file with information? What operating system do you run hrlow2? It runs on my vista and xp.

    In CMD type systeminfo >"drector and file name" It ill save a text file. Incase anyone else was curious. Thanks for the command Dave.

    Example: systeminfo >C:\SystemInfo.txt
