Should run fine. The limiting factor in your computer would be the CPU, which really shouldn't be a problem for games.
Try out Vista for a week or two and then decide if you want to switch back to XP. You might like Vista.
HI,
Yesterday I ordered a Dell Dimension Intel Desktop Computer - Intel Pentium 4 631 3.0GHz (HT), 1GB DDR2, 250GB SATA II HDD, DVD±RW Dual-Layer, Flash Media Reader, Windows Vista Home Premium. I also ordered a 2 gig memory stick because what I heard visa don't run so well on 1 gig. I was trained on XP so I don't know. I also bought a nVIDIA PNY verto GeFORCE 1 gig DDR Graphics card to put in it. Now, with all those specs I provided to you, do you think I can play Call of duty 4 without lagging out and nice looking graphics? Or do you think I'd be better off formatting the hard drive and Installing windows xp pro on this thing. I think with xp pro this computer with all the extra's would be faster than S**T.
What do you guys think?
Thank alot for those of you who took the time to read this and answer me back.

I play COD 4 with an ATI 256mb PCIE card and an A64 X2 4200+ w/2gb ram. I have heard that the # of pipelines on a Video card is equal to or more important than the onboard ram. Mine has 16 pipelines, from what I understand, and I can play Crysis, while I've seen people with much more expensive cards complaining of terrible framerates.
Rammer Jammer Yellowhammer, give 'em hell Alabama!
I asked my psychiatrist when I might get better. He said he doesn't know, he's just practicing right now.
Whatever you do, do what I say.
XP Pro all the way.
Living life and loving it.
