    HELP!

    ok heres the break down i bought a new msi k7n2 motherboard and i connected everything and i goto turni it on fans spin case lights turn on and eveything BUT no picture....im running a amd athlon 1700+ my dads old proccesor lol slowly upgrading diffrent parts and i got the new mobo and like i said no picture

    First try resetting the CMOS via the jumper on the motherboard near the battery. With power off, move the jumper from pins 1-2 to 2-3. Put the jumper back on pins 1-2. Try to boot.

    Do you hear the single beep? No code at all?

    Can you get into the BIOS? Hit ESC, F1, F2 F10 or delete when booting.

    aight ill try that when i get home and also ill check for any beeps if i remember right there like a short beep sound but ill check im at my uncles rite now il be home in like an hour soo if your still on by then if u have any msngers maybe u can help me tru that...

    i also forgot to mention i ahve a d-bracket and all of the lights are lighten up the top 2 are red and the bottom 2 are green there are no beeps at all when i turn the computer on i hear activity in the rom drive all of the fans work but thats it oh btw clearing the cmos didnt work

    on the MSI website or in the manual, you will find what the different codes mean for the D-Bracket. It will give you a good direction to move towards in your troubleshooting.

    all right my motherboard booklet says that its the proccesor soo im ganna have too invesigate this more....im ganna try and remove it and reinsert it diffrently...

    *UPDATE*
    I FRIED MY PROCCESOR thats the problem...sniff..sniff...im a poor 14 y/o lol oh well no cs for a couple months....Fcuk!!! well ty all for your help also what could have friend my proccesor the fan was a little hard too get on there....i guss il jsu thave too buy and even better one now ^^ barton 2500+ w00t anyone noe were to get one cheap?
