    Install a CD-ROM driver, continued...

    The setup program says:
    Type: 0, then Type: 1.
It detects HD's and CD-ROM drives.
    There are 4 fields:
    Primary HD:
    1
    2
    Secondary:
    1
    2
    Then it says:
    Auto
    Or put in specifications yourself.
So I think the best thing to do is put the Primary HD, #2 at auto, and Primary #1, at auto. Then secondary #2 at auto.
Then what is a default driver for a 52X cdrom drive?
I will try to find out the brand name of it.
    Thanks whoever is reading this!

Okay, if you have Windows installed, then you SHOULD have a driver already installed.

It's important that you set the drives up as followed....assuming you have one hard drive and one CD drive.

Leave everything in the BIOS on AUTO (don't change this unless you have a problem...sometimes you'll need to manually input the information for the hard drives)

Primary Master should be the hard drive. The jmper on the back of the drive should be set to MASTER.

Secondary MASTER will be the CD drive. Make sure the jumper on the back of the CD drive is set in the MASTER position. (make sure the two drives are on two different cables...Hard drive will be IDE0 and IDE1 will be the CD drive.
