Angry Can I disable all the "cancel or allow" messages for certain actions?

I'm really tired of being asked to confirm (in 2 steps each time) every move I make, even when just moving files from one folder on my harddrive to another. And the whole "calculating time remaining".... the file transfer could already be done by the time they calculate how long it will take. x( Anyways, my friend told me there is somewhere that I can edit the frequency and reasons for the cancel/allow box popping up... but I can't find anything with those settings. Also I'm sure it will tell me I need to be administrator to do it when i do find it, how do i convince it that I am the administrator? :P

I thought that was the only account set up on there. You need to take it back before time runs out. If Vista is that much of a headache why use it? There is a way to turn off the messages, but only for all warnings. So if you really should be warned it wont be able to tell you if its turned off.

Rammer Jammer Yellowhammer, give 'em hell Alabama!

I asked my psychiatrist when I might get better. He said he doesn't know, he's just practicing right now.

yeah its past the date we could've taken it back and other than the warnings and little annoying security things, i like it just fine ... but just for kicks, how do i find this "disable all warnings" option... i could just turn it off when i am planning to move a bunch of files and then enable it again

Login under the ADMIN login name, then go to the control panel, then to the user accounts. Look for Turn User Account Control On/Off.

This is a security feature. I would leave it on, personally.
