Problem with my brand new MacBook

This is really strange, it started when I was changing the Display. All of a sudden, the window only opens halfway of the screen. In other words, I couldn't get any webpage to open full-screen. I'm so upset with Mac, this has never happened with my PC. Would someone please help me figure out how to correct this problem?

I've reinstalled Mac os X, but it didn't fix the problem.

My problem is no more! I called Apple's tech support hotline (guess what? A real person answered after only a two minute wait.) and he said: "Do you see three faint diagonal lines at the bottom of the right hand corner?" I said "No.....oh yeah, I see it!" He said "Drag it down." Viola`, problem solved.

This reminds me of the first time I encountered a desktop Mac at a friend's house, for the life of me, I couldn't locate the power button to turn it on until my friend showed me, it turned out to be a flat button on the back with the symbol barely visible.
