    WIN98SE Device Manager Problems

Following Win98SE installation and formatting of a larger 40 GB HDD, I have had Device Manger problems. Under Other Devices, the modem, PCI Mass Storage Controller, and PCI Multimedia Audio Device have the (!) error. I am not savvy in the art of locating drivers for these devices. I have tried looking on the hardware (modem name, unknown; sound card S3 SonicVibes). I have had no success in locating the drivers for these items and really need some help. Also, I am receiving the (!) message in the Network Adapters section of the Device Manager regarding my Intel /100+ Alert on LAN Management Adapter device.

    Please HELP!

    Martin

    WIN98SE Device Manager Problems

Hardware is not built into the motherboard. All are PCI (?) cards. I am assuming that PCI is an acronym for something, but they all plug into the motherboard.
