How do I get a job?
I'm a 21 year old who was A+ Certified early this year and I'm having trouble figuring out how to find a job. I was thinking I could get some advice here.
To tell you a little about me, the only employment I have ever held is as a PC Technician at a local small computer service store. However, they let me go after one month because business was too slow for them to justify keeping me. I live in an area of Southern California that is growing, but still doesn't have much. I can't find any place that will hire me or even think of hiring me. Employment agencies tell me there is no demand. The Best Buy stores in the area told me they have overhired.
I honestly just don't know where to look or what kind of companies would want somebody with my lack of work experience. It doesn't help that I am very desperate for money. Any advice would be appreciated!

Create your own work. If you're motivated, organized and have the skills, you can go into business for yourself. Unless you obtain more certs, this is probably your only option. You need to put yourself above everyone else. More certs and/or an education will do that.
Until then, make up some business cards, leave them all around town....maybe take out an ad in a local newspaper, and advertise your services.

You might also make some nice flyers (4 to a page) and have them copied at kinkos and cut into quarters. Find a friend and put them on mail boxes in the more desirable neighborhoods in your area. Don't use thumb tacks and don't put them inside the box and try not to let them litter the ground. My company has put out around 20,000 this way and have survived on this alone for almost 10 months. Haven't had a single complaint! Good luck to you.
