The manual should tell you and give you a picture!
I am not sure, though.
Hi, I just finished building my first ground up build. All went well and the computer is crazy fast. The only problem I am having is my front panel audio. Not a major issue, but a nice feature to have. My front USB's, LED's and pwr/rst switches work fine and were quickly connected using Asus' Q-Connector. But the FPA cable labels don't match the mobo connector labels. I have 5 wires for FPA. Ground, Left, Right, Mic1 and Mic2. My mobo connectors are labeled as Ground, +5VA, Mic2, MicPwr, the next two have a jumper on them and only one is labeled as BLINE_OUT_R. The next pin stands alone labeled NC, and the last two also have a jumper on them and they are labeled as BLINE_OUT_L and Line out_L.
Here is the basic pin layout
::|.|
The : represents two pins nxt to eachother, the | represents two pins connected with jumpers, and the . represents a single pin.
Anybody know which cables connect to which pins to make my FPA work??

"I'm going off the rails on a crazy train"
thats what the connectors are labeled in the manual. on the mobo itself its only fr audio. but my wires aren't labelled at all like the layout im the manual.
Which motherboard and case do you have?
Asus M2N-SLI nForce 570 (Socket AM2+) mobo, the case I honestly couldn't tell you... I picked it up for about $50, 3 years ago and never put it to use. It looks decent enough, clear side and all, but you can tell its cheaply made. Anyway, the front USB wires, pwr switches, and lights were all labeled exactly as the mobo, and Asus Q-Connector made it quick and easy, but the audio isn't labelled the same as all. I'm thinking maybe my case doesn't support legacy AC '97 audio standard. If I can't figure it out, I'll take the FPA out of another case and rig something up.
